Ooh, I'd love to win 300 Paper-Pieced Quilt Blocks - (CD included)By Carol Doak.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the perfect book for me.
Thanks!!!!
My mother passed away 1 1/2 yrs ago. She loved children. It didn't matter whose they were. She would gather school supplies and make up back packs of them for the less privileged children in the local schools. I miss her everyday.
ReplyDeleteI'm an old follower by GFC as Lisa Cox
Hmm... I can't decide between "Patchwork Play Quilts" and "Bits and Pieces" among the books. And it took a long time to get it narrowed down to that! There are so many great Martingale books!
ReplyDeleteI follow you on twitter and just signed up to follow you on GFC (goosie).
ReplyDeleteMy mom is not afraid of anything and can do anything she decides to do. The older she gets, the fiercer (in a good way) she gets. I hope I will be like her one day.
I already liked Martingale, but I went over and said hi for you. ;)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Michelle for yesterday's win. I'm so glad you were able to get out and spend some time with your sister and bonus you got to shop for fabric as well. hehe. I am a follower via GFC, I double checked. One of the great things about my Mom is she is strong and is a survivor. She has had abuse and loss in her life. Some of which are the loss of two sons and a husband. My Mom, who I love dearly, is beautiful, sweet, giving, creative and supportive to name a few traits. Of course I could go on. hehe.
ReplyDeleteThank you for a super giveaway and a chance to win.

I'm a follower via GFC. Here's something about my mom: she was incredibly resilient. I'm learning that it is a family trait; I see it in her siblings and cousins, and feel pretty sure it was passed down from their parents, who rose above hardships and heartbreak to build happy, useful lives.
ReplyDeleteMartingale has so many great books. I'd like to try my hand at landscape quilts, so I might choose "Dream Landscapes", "Points of View", or "Mosaic Picture Quilts". That tells you how deep their catalog is--so many wonderful books to choose from.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another fun giveaway, times two!
I love this pattern - http://www.shopmartingale.com/inch-by-inch-quilt-epattern.html
ReplyDeleteI would love to make this with the alphabet printed on the body.
I am a follower. In regards to special mums - my Mother-in-Law is amazing. She is the most wonderful person and I love her. Since having children this feeling has only increased, she is so supportive and helpful. I adore her.
ReplyDeleteI can't decide between these two books so I am listing both!
