AccuQuilt has given me the pleasure of offering up a chance for one of you to win one of the most sought after tools of the year! Yes,it's true, quilters and crafters alike are wild to get their hands on one of these jewels. They have all heard how much of a time saver it is and about all the incredible dies that are available to make so many shapes. And of course they have all heard how all the pieces they cut are exactly the same size! Very important to us quilters and crafters.
Yep, you guessed it, one of the delightful and ever so handy AccuQuilt GO! Baby! Squee, I can hear you! How many have you seen being given away and how many have you done this and done that and then done some more, follow her, follow them, ring around the rosy stuff, just to get your name in the pot? I am going to try to keep this giveaway very simple and quick.
But first just a word or two about this fabulous and ever so sweet AccuQuilt GO! Baby. Here is what she looks like, oh and I named mine Betty:
And here is one of the things you can end up with:
(not quite finished but soon to be on granddaughters wall)
There is a great tutorial on my blog that shows detailed pics of Dana using the GO! Baby
I really like the ease of cutting through up to 6 layers of fabric at one time. You do have to think about the best way to lay the fabric to eliminate too much fabric waste and not cut on the bias. 4" squares fit most of the largest die cuts. It was easy to turn, the die went through without any effort, although I found that if you start in it slightly angled, it will go through a bit easier. The pieces are all identical in size and cuts down cutting time to a fraction of what you would do with a rotary cutter or gasp with scissors. A real bonus is that if you go here -------> http://www.accuquilt.com/ email-signup and sign up for their email news you will receive 22 FREE patterns, that's all you have to do, just give them your email address. Don't be afraid, they don't sell it or give it away, they keep your information very private and you won't be inundated with tons of emails. AccuQuilt is good like that!! They are some of the best people in the world to deal with, friendly, never in a hurry, answer emails promptly and their "Live Chat" is excellent. I like to just stop in and say hi! Spend some time looking through their web pages. They are so many awesome pictures of things that can be made using one of AccuQuilts Die Cutters (even a skirt and vest, yes really, I saw it over there).
So here we go and good luck to each and everyone of you!
Four Chances to Win.
1. This is a mandatory step to enter!. You have to do this one or your other entries will not count and they will be deleted. Go here -----> AccuQuilt on Facebook and like them and leave a comment here.
(((Do Not Leave a Post on Accuquilts Facebook page as I originally ask, I think we may have caused a a bit of a traffic jam over there ; ). I love giving them attention and they love getting it but we have to understand that there are people who can't find the posts they are looking for. Thanks, I knew ya'll would understand. All quilters, sewers and crafters are like that aren't we!)))
There, the hard one is out of the way.
2. Go here -----> AccuQuilt.com Look around their web site and choose 3 dies that you would absolutely want to win with the AccuQuilt GO! Baby. Remember, some of the AccuQuilt GO! dies work with this sweet GO! Baby as well! There is a chart that will tell you which are compatible here ---> Compatibility. Have fun, you can always change your mind later if you win and choose something different. Come back here and leave me a comment telling me which 3 dies you chose.
Extra Entries (only if you want to)
3. While you are here, why not join my group of peeps that follow me? It is as easy as clicking join on my Google Friend Connect, See it right over there on your right? Yeah, that's it. Go ahead, you'll like visiting here. Leave a comment letting me know you are a new follower or if you are one of my coveted followers already, just tell me, I'll remember you. That is another entry. 4. Gee we have to have one more, it is just more fun with even numbers. Hmmmm, I know, go to my friend Sha's web page here ----> http://craizeecorner.blogspot.com/ and join her blog via GFC, she is going to be giving away an AccuQuilt GO! Baby too SOON so keep an eye on her blog so you don't miss it!!!
And this is another entry.
So there you have it, 4 chances to win. That's it peeps, let the entries begin!!!
I do wish you all the best of luck. I would love to give you all a GO! Baby but if I did, AccuQuilt would not be in business and where would we get our new dies?
Giveaway starts August 23, 2011 and ends at midnight September 1, 2011.
Winner will be notified via email (and I will post it on my blog) so be sure you leave me one because if you don't, how would I be able to let you know you're a winner? If I don't have an email, I will draw another winner and your win will be canceled immediately. You will have 48 hours or so to get in touch with me with the requested information and the fine folks at AccuQuilt will have your darling AccuQuilt GO! Baby on it's way to your house.
GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED. COMMENTS ARE CLOSED. DRAWING TOMORROW OR MONDAY. I AM DEALING WITH SOME SERIOUS FAMILY HEALTH ISSUES BUT HOPE I CAN NOTIFY YOU ALL QUICKLY. GOOD LUCK TO ALL
